LISE is the perfect software system for calculating new installations, and for checking and validating existing installations. It is designed for installers, electricians, design offices, maintenance services and teachers.

Its great flexibility allows for very diverse uses, from simple calculations of cable cross-sections to calculating complete installations with many electrical boards. Well stocked with manufacturer libraries (circuit breakers, switches, fuses, etc), it automatically selects the most suitable items, taking coordination and selectivity into account.

Checking existing installations

Dealing with existing installations almost certainly means being faced with anomalies, either because they are old installations and standards have changed, or because maintenance or extension operations were carried out with no complete calculation or checks. 

An interface that is easy to learn to use :

The diagram is built up simply by placing symbols or complete predefined circuits on the drawing. No manual repositioning is necessary: if an outgoing circuit is inserted between two others, LISE automatically increases the width of the distributor and repositions the outgoing circuits accordingly.

Any anomaly reported at the bottom of the screen is explained in detail and highlighted in colour in the diagram and in the characteristics and/or calculation results.In most cases, just unlocking the characteristic(s) shown in red allows LISE to automatically resolve the problem.

The characteristics and calculation results are organised by element and by topic, for easier reading. The data presented is both complete and clear. For example: The installation method is shown with an illustration and a description. As a result the codes do not need to be known by heart. However, users who want to save time can directly enter the standardised code for the installation method.

Completely automatic design :

LISE automatically calculates all the useful values in real time as the diagram is being built (each change made in the diagram or to the characteristics is applied immediately). LISE proposes values whenever possible, but you can always use the value you want.

A compliant study can therefore be produced simply, with a couple of clicks to enter the diagram and a couple of keystrokes to enter usages. All the sizings will be produced automatically.

To finish, you only need to specify the cable lengths, the installation conditions (which can be modified by group)…The calculation will readjust elements where necessary.

Management of manufacturers' catalogues :

Users can choose a default manufacturer for each installation considered. All circuit breakers and switches will then be automatically chosen from that manufacturer without having to open the catalogue for each component.

If, for a given device, you want to select a specific model, you just need to open the catalogue and select the model wanted.

The search can be done based on technical criteria or by accessing all the items available through a tree view.

In manual selection mode, you can combine several manufacturers for a single installation. The catalogues are regularly enriched and updated, and are subject to many controls on input.

Checking existing installations :

Dealing with existing installations almost certainly means being faced with anomalies, either because they are old installations and standards have changed, or because maintenance or extension operations were carried out with no complete calculation or checks.

However, it is not always possible to correct these anomalies on the existing equipment, especially when it is only a small extension. This is why all the anomalies identified by LISE can be justified, ie accompanied by free-format text in which the user can indicate why he/she hasn't corrected the anomaly.

The fact that anomalies are left, whether justified or not, never prevents calculations.
It is, for example, possible to continue the calculation of a sub-switchboard, and to make it compliant, even if anomalies are reported between the source and the sub-switchboard.

Compliance with standard NF C 15-100 is guaranteed :

LISE performs the following calculations and checks:

  • Full power balance with automatic phase balancing ;
  • Choice and automatic adjustment of protection devices ;
  • Automatic choice of cross-sections ;
  • All checks required by standards (ampacity, protection from overloads, short circuits, indirect contacts, voltage drops, etc) ;
  • The quality of the results is guaranteed by authorisation UTE 15L607 ;
  • Printing a complete folder : The Order of 10 October 2000 requires a minimum list of information to be provided as support for an installation. The system generates this report, fully or selectively as needed.
